A trip to see them all
Jennifer_V, 22-12-2022
Tom was our guide and we enjoyed his knowledge of the area. It was fun to listen to the story behind The Three Sisters and the Lyre bird. The Blue Mountains were beautiful, the cable rides were great, the water fall was charming, and the ferry was relaxing. When you're on the ferry be sure to get out to the deck to have a better view of the harbor, Sydney bridge, and the opera house. There was good amount of restroom stops and Tom was considerate to point out good restrooms to use and bad restrooms to avoid. When you get up to the mountains it can be pretty chilly even in the summer so bring a jacket just in case, same for the ferry. The Featherdale Wildlife Park was nice. We got to take pictures with the koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, and even pet some of them. Their fur was fluffy and soft but do be kind and gentle with these animals.
Excellent day out

This was a great experience! We felt like we got a little of everything - wildlife, views of the mountains and falls, and a nice ferry ride back to the city.

Amazing!! Different activities during the day. Wildlife sanctuary with all Australias native animals, ECO point, Blue Mountains and the best driver ever: Aaron, so funny and gave really good guiding with stories and a great sense of humor.
Well-planned and well-organised, I had a lot of fun!

I had a lovely time on this guided tour - not only was Aaron knowledgeable, he was also pretty fun and friendly! The hotel pickup was also pretty good, they were actually at the spot early, which was nice.

The tour was also very well-organised and timed, and we did not run into serious crowds at all, especially when we visited featherdale. There's so many things to do on this tour, but it did not feel rushed at all. 10/10!
Great trip

Good driver interesting views etc. Just spent too little time in the Blue Mountains. Would have like to walk more at Scienic world. The Featherdale Zoo visited was tired and out dated...
Stunning day out.

Spectacular scenery and well run experience. Our guide Jed was very knowledgeable and gave us interesting information on the drive. Really enjoyed the ferry ride home too, as it was quite warm the day we did the trip.
Spectacular Blue Mountains!

A busy day in the Mountains. There’s lot to do so spending more time in the main area would have been better. Felt a little rushed at times.

The scenic world ride and the scenery of three sisters. Blue Mountains was beautiful and worth the trip. Wish it was longer.
Meh experience
jillc91, 27-12-2022
Given the holidays, our small group day trip to Scenic World, the Blue Mountains, and the wildlife park was a large group tour, instead, on a bus. The bus lost its air conditioning 1/2 way through the trip and became absolutely unbearable for the last 2 hours of the day, including the journey back into Sydney (which was also on a bus rather than ferry due to the holiday). With no ventilation, we were literally baking in the bus (not the experience I wanted for our family of 4, especially given the cost). No one with the tour has reached out following the ride back (which our guide even chose not to make the last 40 minutes) following the wildlife park. Scenic World was fine, but a bit gimmicky. Also, I don’t know what can be done to combat this problem, but at virtually each stop (3) at least 1 group arrived back at the bus 15 minutes or more late (requiring all of the other passengers to sit and wait). While the guide reprimanded folks, many of us began to wish we left the stragglers.
Blue Mountains bit of a disappointment
Ruthlols64, 10-01-2023
The best part of our experience was Barry our bus driver who was full of knowledge and kept us entertained on our journey to the Blue Mountains.

FJ Tours travel whatever the weather, we learnt our lesson as we had the most awful day as we could not see further than our noses. So our lesson is and our advise is to not prebook. Check the weather in advance make sure its a clear day otherwise it a total waste of time and money. So disappointed we did not see a thing. I really think tour operators should not run when the weather is this bad.

The other problem we had was when we completed the final part of the tour which was the ferry trip from Olympic Park down the Parramatta to Circular Quay we were just dropped off along with three or four other bus loads of people and left to fend for ourselves to catch the ferry. All the ferries were full and we were there for over an hour waiting for a ferry back. Fortunate the weather was kind to us. We ended up in Barangaroo as all the Circular Quay ferries were full. To improve this the guide should stay with his party to ensure they all get on the ferry safely to Circular Quay as we noticed several people catching Ubers.

Also, the journey to Ferndale Wildlife Centre was a bit of a waste as this time could have been better spent exploring the Blue Mountains and making it less of a rush as we felt it was all a bit rushed on the day.
